Royal Pass
Turin and neighboring cities have long been the realm of the great Savoy courts , and the Tourist Office has devised a dedicated tourist pass, the Royal Pass (formerly the Royal Card).
Through a series of itineraries to discover Castles, Palaces and other Savoy Residences (UNESCO World Heritage Sites), you can relive the pageantry of the era and immerse yourself in the royal atmosphere.
Let's look in detail at what the Royal Pass includes, how it works, prices, where to buy it, and other useful information.

What is the Royal Pass?
The Royal Pass (formerly known as the Royal Card) is a tourist card that allows free admission to the Royal Residences of Piedmont, plus a range of other discounts and concessions. Visits to any temporary exhibitions are also included, and you can participate at a reduced rate in thematic experiences offered by the Savoy Residences.
The Pass is valid for 4 consecutive days and thus allows you to relive the court atmosphere through a journey through time among opulent palaces, castles and royal residences.
If you are planning or would like to spend such a vacation in and around Turin, discovering the ancient royal residences, the Royal Pass really pays off. It saves you time and money, and you should definitely consider buying it!
Even just by visiting 3 Savoy residences you have already paid back the price of the Royal Pass.
Technically, it is a QR code, which comes to you via email once you have completed your purchase. You just need to show it from your smartphone (or even printed if you prefer) to enter the various Savoy residences, or to get discounts.
One thing to pay attention to, as we will see later in this article, is the need to book some entrances online in advance.
Important to know that many Savoy residences are closed on Mondays, but you might take the opportunity to visit some of Turin's other wonders.
