How does this site work?
This site is very easy to use and make the most of to learn how to choose the best pass for your vacation.
I will briefly outline the resources available.
General information about passes
We have prepared a menu section, called "ALL ABOUT THE PASS", which contains some general articles about the tourist pass, to learn about what it is and how it works, when it is worthwhile, why it makes sense to evaluate it and in case to buy it.
I realized that so many tourists, especially those not used to traveling over large cities and metropolises, are often unclear about what a tourist card is and what opportunities it offers, how to interpret it and what it allows.
And sometimes they fall into the mistake of labeling it as "something extra," in 99 percent of cases missing an opportunity.
So knowing the passes and understanding their rationale is definitely a key step before you then go on to figure out the right one for your vacation.
The articles-guides on a city's passes
Basically you find an article-guide for each tourist destination, subdivided into menus according to the nation/state they belong to.
In this dedicated article the whole analysis of the tourist passes/cards available in that city is done, first learning what tools are available to us, with a more objective description of the features of each card, and then comparing them with each other to highlight their mutual advantages and disadvantages, the classic pros and cons.
So the most useful part of all the reasoning is to try to interpret each pass to the style of vacation, the idea of itinerary you have, so that you can direct yourself-at least with reasoning-to the tool that is best suited to further your vacation.
Not only passes, but also individual tickets
For each city, in addition to the analysis, review, and evaluation of all available passes, on the right column (if you are browsing from a PC), or below after the article (if you are browsing from a Smartphone/Tablet), you will find boxes that present on a rotating basis the possibility of purchasing individual tickets of the main tourist activities, guided tours, excursions, and museums in the city.
By clicking on the individual box you will be taken to the website of partner Get Your Guide, an international reference point for the online sale of tichkets for activities and tourist attractions.
We chose Get Your Guide for its reliability in providing tickets, and for the possibility of consulting and booking completely in Italian, an aspect that is not fundamental but I see as very welcome by surfers.
Once you enter Get Your Guide by clicking on any of the boxes, you can then navigate through the portal and see the entire list of activities and attractions available for your chosen city.
Why are individual tickets important?
Unless you opt for an "all-inclusive" type of pass (where available), i.e., those tourist cards that have everything or almost everything in them, the typical situation is one in which you will find the pass that covers most of the things you want to see, and perhaps 1-2 attractions are left out, either because they are not covered by the pass, or because it would otherwise force you to purchase a larger cut of pass that is excessive at that point.
Then the best strategy is to combine things. The pass gives me as much coverage as possible while maintaining convenience, and eventually I supplement that with individual tickets where I need them.
